The Lee Precision .38-40 WCF (Winchester Center Fire) Steel 3-Die set allows decapping, sizing, powder charging, bullet seating and crimping on the press. There is no need for a separate taper crimp die. Lubrication is required with these dies. The included Lee Precision Steel Full Length Sizer die must be lubricated before sizing and your cases must be cleaned before charging.

The Powder Through Expanding Die has an expanded and flared case neck with a hollow plug which allows simultaneous case neck flaring and charging. The Bullet Seating Die has a universal free floating seating plug that works with nearly any point style bullet. Finger adjustable seating depth and a tapered end for use with automatic bullet feeders.

FACTORS THAT WILL INCREASE PRESSURES. SOME WILL BE DANGEROUS:

• DO NOT USE more powder than recommended

• DO NOT USE magnum primers unless using a slow burning ball powder
• Greatly oversize bullets, excessively hard bullets or cases that are too long will cause higher pressures
• High temperatures or cartridges that were stored in a hot car or trunk will produce higher pressures
